True story about mine shafts: An engineer was hired to reopen a mothballed mine. After weeks of inspection & repair of lifts and ventilation, he called his employer to inspect the mine. After about half an hour underground, the inspector looked at his watch and said, “Oh, there’s 30 minutes, that’s the maximum safe exposure.” Only then did the engineer learn that it was a uranium mine.
Idiots are always complaining about service and police cogs being abused by being “forced” to work. Snicker. I watch a short YouTube channel where a guy is trying to keep his retired bomb sniffer from being bored to death.
