But if it means you can order beer in more languages, then it’s not all that boring.

Most really smart people try to fit in and don’t brag, those that do are lonely

All my daughters are bilingual, two of them trilingual, with one of them—my Marvelous Moldovan—a polyglot. Five languages; Romanian, Russian, English, French, & Danish.

Andy knows enough of foreign languages to get himself thrown out of any bar in Europe.

The scene: a man and a woman, together in bed. The lady has a look of disappointment and disgust on her face. The gentleman speaks: “Multilingual means I can speak several languages. What did you think it meant?”

Is there any other species that is bilingual? Why would you complain about the person that may have bought the next round.

Not so fast, Andy. Maybe he will tell us about his biological female co worker who is really stacked.

If you are fluent in two languages, you are bi-lingual. If you’re proficient in several languages, then you are a polyglot. If can’t speak any foreign language well, you’re English! ( or American )

I speak English, but I’m a bad Canadian because I never continued to take French when it was offered.

He must be buying the pints if they’ve, and specifically Andy, has put up with him that long.

Multilingual — how you refer to someone who knows multiple languages.

American — how you refer to someone who only knows one language.

Andy is awake and alert. Showing off his literacy skills. HE and Chalkie must be on their first pint.

Being really boring in one language is quite enough for me. Anyway I doubt he’s boring at all. Andy is the one with the boring life.

2 tongues, similar to a snake (no, that’s forked tongue. See cowboy and Indian films and comics). You need to be a Parselmouth to understand them (See Harry Potter).
