The fire grew from about 2850 acres to 3400 acres today. I watched a fire r e t a r d a n t b o m b e r heading back to the base in Redmond, OR to reload. There’s a crew from many fire departments around the state helping out. The temperatures have gone from the 30’s in the morning to mid 70’s in the afternoon. But the temperatures are supposed to be in the 90’s by Friday.
Another sleepless night last night. I spent the day defrosting my 30+ year old refrigerator. And napping. I just plugged it in again, 12 hours later. My kitchen floor was flooded. I needed to defrost months ago.
