Fred, be the hero and give it back to her!

Well, it’s a win-win that you didn’t. Just chuck it out at her feet. She’ll be happy.

That would have been a ruff passage……..

Mrs Dear is certainly careless in preparing food. She seems to regularly make a dog’s dinner of her dog’s dinner.

Fred give one good Bark to let the Dears know that something has been found ;-)

They complained about Fred’s weight the other day and then give him dinner scraps! Go figure!

Yeah, Fred, use your nose and push your bowl to her feet.

Just stare at her until she notices!

Bark to get her attention, Fred!

in a very real sense, the marriage almost turned to crap.

Not sure but this may be the first chuckle I got from this strip. I usually read it for the warm fuzzies.

And what was her hand doing in “YOUR” dog food ….. Buckles ….. However best take advantage of this ……. you might be able to trade the ring for better treats …….. ;)

You can be as heroic as Lassie, Fred, just howl and point your nose to the bowl.

To those who are wondering how her wedding ring ended up in Fred’s bowl, remember that Lucy Ricardo’s wedding ring once got lost in a bowl of hamburger meat, and it ended up in a grilled burger. People sometimes get careless — especially in the name of comedy.

As for the upcoming dialogue here, it’ll be a few short barks from Fred, followed by:

“What’s that, Fred? Timmy’s trapped in the well?”

“No, dear, it’s not that — Fred’s trying to tell us he found your ring!”

“Fred, you’re a real hero!”
