I’ve always preferred to think of Death as being like Robert Redford’s presentation in an old episode (I think) of The Twilight Zone or even Nicholas Cage in “City of Angels”.
Death in the Discworld stories experienced burnout,
Life and death have been in love since beginning of time, life sends countless gifts to death and death keeps them forever.
