Love the old time window shades… My Grandmother had them – they do keep it cooler in the Summer.

That’s a good one. I never threw a paper on the roof, but the wind did carry one through a window one afternoon. And once the rubber band caught on a tree limb and the lady said, “You couldn’t do that again in a hundred years!”
