Well, Clyde has had his moments of smugness, sanctimoniousness, and arrogance in the past, but this is the first time I’ve seen him be so nasty and mean-spirited to someone he says is his friend.
And it’s not entirely true. That description fits Barney personally in many ways, but the company he built also provides jobs and presumably his products (at least the ones that have to pass FDA muster) provide some good to society. And his R&D dept, regardless of the motivation, looks for more cures. In many ways, he does more for humanity than you do Clyde.
