Now look where we are! How many of you are reading this on your phone? ( I’m on a Tablet, don’t think they were invented yet)

i was trying to figure out the punchline here – what would hating the stairs have to do with phoning her while she’s on vacation? but then i realized she’s talking about her mom phoning her when they’re at home lol

If I remember correctly, at that time you did not have unlimited calling, so mom’s calls could add up quickly

Cell phone plans were really expensive back then too. She never has any money, this one. Lucky her sister puts up with her.

I don’t come to GoComics very often so pardon me if this is well known: Is there a specific reason why Stone Soup is doing ~30-year-old reruns, e.g. is she taking a break, ill, or retired? The “About” tabs here don’t mention anything.

I had one early 90s, needed it for work. We weren’t glued to them back then.

What does ‘she hates the stairs’ have to do with her having a cell phone?
