Mum was a stickler about making the bed -not just “zipping it up” – but stripping it to the mattress and MAKING it. Every. Blessed. Day. One day she reprimanded me for the sloppy job I did, and pointed out how nicely my sister’s bed was done.
I did NOT tell her that Lynn took off the quilt and grabbed her pillow every night, and slept on the floor rolled up like a burrito.
Brushing before or after breakfast? I cannot stand to eat after I have brushed – nothing tastes good and then I feel like I should brush again. But I know that’s the way tons of people do it.
