Declining newspaper subscriptions led to declining ad revenues, which led to shrinking the size of comics, which led me to drop my subscription to the paper edition of my local newspaper — and the death spiral continues. I can make digital comics any size I wish.
On the flip side, webcomics have a global reach, and that may create opportunities for some artists. With this window closing, I hope many more open for Beardo.
