It still amuses me how my dog somehow looks naked when she’s not wearing her collar

    Fortunately, it’s not a “towels-optional” beach. :)

It seems that “optional” isn’t really the case.

if something is optional it’s not compulsory to be omitted, isn’t it?

Funny, funny, funny story!… Years ago my sister and I were taking our children, ages around 3, and maybe 9 ish… (a little 3 year old girl, , and an older girl and 2 boys) to a beach on the Jersey shore, and 2 of them were closed because they were doing the parking lots… so we ended up on one we never went to, and the 2 bigger boys grabbed a cooler, and my sister and I had arms full of other stuff and a 3 year old little girl, who complained about the heat and the walk all the way. After trudging from the furtherest end of the parking lot, through a small woods, and halfway down the wide beach, we saw a sign saying that half the beach was for nude swimmers.. and the only thing protecting our “side” was a lifeguard with a whistle he blew and waved them back when the nudies tried to come on the suited “side”… My sister and I looked at each other, and there was NO WAY we were going to trudge all the way back to the car, … it was hot and there was really no place else to go without a ride… so we just shrugged out shoulders and figured it was as good a time as anyway for the kids to learn about anatomy!! Anyway, they commented when they saw that some didn’t have suits on, then forgot about them, and had their fun in the sand and water… We had gone latish and weren’t there too long when the lifeguard called everyone out because he was leaving at 5, so after he was gone, you could go back in without him being there to save you,,,, from the waves or the exobitsionibts… and the older kids went back in, and my sister and I went closer to stand between them and one particular guy who seemed to want to get closer to them… anyway, I told my little 3 year old niece to point at the guy, and say real loud,“His THING is sooo little!”…. (she had no idea what a “thing” was!) Well, she didn’t, but my sister and I thought it would have been REAL funny!!
