Hate to say it but Peter Criss was the drummer for Kiss for only eight years. Eric Carr was “employed” as the drummer from 1980 to 1991 (11 years). After that, I think Kiss kind of went all Spinal Tap with a number of drummers they employed.
When KISS appeared on Paul Lynde’s summer variety show, he speculated that they got their name and trademark when as small boys they got in a fight and their mothers told them to kiss and make up.
