The dream of every kid on the playground.

How is he stuck on that swing?

Didn’t we all wonder what would happen if we “went over the bar” as kids? I don’t think this result is consistent with the law of physics, though.

I hate when that happens.

This needs to be an Olympic event!

I hit a girl really hard with my backswing once.. ..

She cried really hard,and I was beyond horrified!

I’m certain she at least saw every star in the Galaxy!

I love how Red’s words to Rover are upside down, too!

Just let go and grab the side pole, Red! Or is it you want Rover to rescue you ala Lassie?

When we were kids, one of my brothers actually went over the bar once.

Red, just release one hand, then drop. Dr. Lick will do the rest! BTW you have fallen out of trees higher than that! Ha

lucky for Red that Rover can bail him out and go for help. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all had a friend like that and were a friend like that.

I had a friend who, back in school, volunteered to stay after class to wash the blackboard and had a bucket of water for that purpose. But he started to think about how it might be possible to swing the bucket high enough to go full circle over his head and not spill any water.

So he started the swing and just as the bucket was almost at its peak, the teacher opened the door which hit the bucket causing it to spill all the water. It’s a good thing it wasn’t a physics test.

Well…this is a conundrum.
