NATO has 3.39 million active military personnel. Russia has 1.32 million. NATO has five times as many aircraft and three times as many ships as Russia.
NATO spends three times as much on the military as China. China has 2 million active military personnel. NATO has far more aircraft, tanks, artillery and ships.
NATO even has its own flag and its own national anthem, but has no elected leadership and no disciplinary procedures of its own.
Incidentally, CO₂ production from its operations and procurement are explicitly excluded from global calculations when allocating climate change responsibility.
