Good God yes! Couldn’t even buy toilet paper without going to half a dozen stores. Couldn’t find a fresh chicken at any price. Economy was just recovering from a three month drop in GDP of more than a third.

I absolutely cannot understand ANYONE who says they were better off four years ago. They must have been living under a rock.

I miss Obama and Clinton, and their accomplishments. Reagan not so much.

I don’t miss Reagan at all. His ‘great recession’ which has only been outdone by Bush2’s ‘Great Recession’ and the 1929 depression, made the ‘homeless’, families living in their cars and our elderly eating cat food. The worst of Reagan is that he blamed all he did on others, took credit for other’s work (sound familiar?), and some people look back and think he did good.

NFW! Prices are through the roof, no one wants to work, customer service does not exist, and politicians are out of control!

We already know how far back MAGA wants to take us. 1850. MAGA only knows Ronald Raygun as the guy from ‘Bedtime for Bonzo’.

The number of confirmed global coronavirus cases crossed 10 million on Sunday while deaths approached 500,000. The 10 million figure is roughly double the number of severe flu cases recorded every year, per the World Health Organization. The United States accounts for more than 25 percent of worldwide cases, and several states — including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Nevada, and Arizona — either broke or matched their previous records for daily confirmed cases Saturday, prompting Vice President Mike Pence to call off campaign events in Arizona and Florida.

Biden said during an October 2020 debate with Trump that “anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths” should “not remain as president of the United States of America.” The figure was around 220,000 at that time. When President Trump left office the Covid death toll was 396,442. To date under the Biden administration the death count is 792,971 almost double. In the first ten months of the Biden administration the death rate exceeded that of Trump’s. There were no vaccines available during most of the time Trump was in office, but it was him who started Operation Warp Speed which gave us the vaccines in December 2020, a thing Fauci and the Democrats poo pooed and said couldn’t be done. It was President Trump who preordered and payed for 800 million doses of the vaccines. Trump handed Biden the vaccines and a debugged distribution system courtesy of the DoD.

So why are there more Covid deaths under Biden’s watch than under President Trump’s.

The Democrats are in panic mode over Biden’s mumbling, vacant stare performance at the debate last night. The man was barely able to shuffle to his podium and his horse, rambling opening statement set the tone the rest of the debate. Biden got angry and was visibly agitated several times while President Trump remained cool and calm. I will say that both Trump and Biden went off the topic of the questions several times but that’s fairly common though annoying. The moderators were surprisingly even handed given their past history of Trump hate.

Don’t miss Reagan at all, Trickle Down economics was a lie, still is. He also became president after making an agreement with Iran to keep US citizens hostage until after the election. He then sold them weapons illegally

Ronald Reagan gave us the treason of Iran-Contra. Then he gave us “trickle-down” which has increased income inequality and severely hurt and shrunk the middle class. Reagan ignored HIV and AIDS.

Inflation is down; it would have been lower faster if the Repubs had not blocked the anti-gouging bill from Dems and backed by Biden that would have stopped oil companies from continuing to raise prices while they were already making record profits.

Repub – Trump 2017 tax cuts for the wealthy added $7 TRILLION to debt – deficit. The Repubs want to increase those cuts more. Then they plan to raid Social Security and Medicare.

    Unemployment is down.

Action has been taken to improve infrastructure. Repubs that voted against the bill have tried to take credit for things done in their state because they follow the convicted felon’s lead of repeating lies like they learned from Goebbels.

I don’t miss Ronald Reagan, who we now know actually had Alzheimer’s Disease while in office, and who laid the groundwork for a lot of the economic and social problems we’re stuck with today.
