It’s a coup from the bench. President Biden should use his new immunity to take decisive action and have the corrupt justices arrested and walk back the decisions that are obviously against the Constitution and Bill of Rights! Do not leave this up to the voters. This coup has to be squashed NOW!
It’s no longer the news. That died with the exit of Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather. Now, it’s just a money generating theater with celebrities instead of news journalists.
That is the tRump era. Since the escalator, it’s been one scandal after another, sometimes multiple in a day, the next worse than the last. The shear number just trying to address them in a two minute reply is impossible.
I remember the days of Walter Cronkite. First of all, you got more news: there were 20 minutes fewer commercials.
If you wanted more information in those days, we had newspapers. Compared with today’s news feeds, newspapers have terabytes less information, but all bytes are not created equal.
I programmed my first computer in 1966. I got my first cell phone in 1985. Been on the internet since 1986. I’ve been working with technology all of my life. I’ve seen the rise of social media. Most recently I work with artificial intelligence and I have caught it hallucinating.
I only accept so much technology. I can let my phone ring an not feel compelled to answer it. FOMO is not real for me; I can catch up on MY terms. Technology is my servant; I am not its slave.
Technology is great. The information revolution means that we can get information instantly. It also means that we can get misinformation even more instantly.
I remember the days when, “It must be true, I saw it on the internet” was a joke. Nobody could be that STUPID.

What Trump plans to do to American citizens will be held back from the news. All you’ll get is North Korean style news singing his praises.
