Now Terrence needs to remember…the mutation does cause memory loss but can be recovered. Our raccoon from Unity remembered why they sought mutation back in this story. Terrence just needs to remember.
Terrence was part of Dr. Amesworth’s lab creating bubble realities – surely they would have seen what was “out there”….now remember how to draw the diagram to open a door to another reality Terrence
How much does he really know? The topsiders have done a pretty good job of compartmentalizing their information — no one group seems to have the “big picture” except maybe the “top leadership”, whoever they are.
To answer darkstripe’s comment. No, Wally/Cracky is not making any big assumptions.
The people on the beach don’t know how they got there. Who other than Marx could arrange that? The topsiders left in the command center had not moved them. The only escape route from the Eden Project Topsider HQ was the one taken by Wally, Alan, Duffy and Terrence and it was not clear where they would end up. Wally knows that Marx can make gateways to other parts of the universe or probably even other universes, as he got Wally and others directly from the wastelands to Endtown.
It IS Marx’ game. He knows that the more someone has to work for something, the more they will appreciate the ending! ( at least it sounds good??? =-p)
Is the first part of their task-the reason Terrance and the group were placed into the dimensional twisty place-successful? The multiverse is no longer in danger of collapsing like a house of cards when Eden’s pocket existence collapsed? Has Stability between the planes been established?

But what if his reason is to see them all dead in the Great Green?

Maybe they had better go and see…but if they all go, they’re gonna need a bigger boat.

I think Wacky is making some pretty big assumptions about Marx here… but after all, what else can they do?

Wally knows about the topsiders’ satellite.

If not for Wally’s answer, I’d think Terrence was being rather petty.
I always hate it when people say, “Why me?”
That said, all this regard for Marx, as if he’s some kind of god-being. And then, we have the “Eye,” clearly the devil-being in this story.
Kind of what ruined Star Wars for me, as the Force became more and more like a “religion.”

Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith if you want to go anywhere!

if there was a land mass out there with living plant life on this otherwise dead world wouldn’t the Topsiders’ satellite have found it?

I thought that the bird’s name was the somewhat unusual spelling of TerrAnce. I’m too lazy to try to go back and check—anyone remember?

Although it feels odd not commenting directly on the story arc, has anyone considered how much fun this might be as a 13-18 chapter animation series?
