I enjoy being the teetotaler among drinkers. I at least keep a clear head & being a designated driver when called upon.

Some of the most boring people in the world are drunks—yes, even the insane ones who insist the Loch Ness Monster faked the moon landing. But cartoon drinkers are some of my favorite characters.

Andy, Hagar the Horrible, the court jester Bung from “Wizard of Id”, Rat from “Pearls”—all some of my favorites.

When I stopped drinking, I finally realized what leading a life of sobriety meant … I promptly divorced my wife!

Boring is the proper word for this strip lately.

The way he introduced the verb, even if he had thought of the term, it would have had to read " I’m officially tea totaled". Makes no sense. The proper way would be" I’m officially A tea totaler." He’s obviously lying, since he makes no sense. He’s hittin’ the jug.

I don’t drink alcohol much, but that’s not because I’m a teetotaler. It’s because I’m not really interested in that sort of thing.
