The two middle panels comprise The Great Wave Off Kanagawa and a little cartoon image of Ike. I guess Ike is standing in for the tiny rendering of Mt. Fuji. The original is also known as The Great Wave from Thirty-Six Views of Mt. Fuji. I’ve looked at various instances of this image for, um, at least half a century. It was only in the last few years that I actually SAW the rendering of Mt. Fuji in the picture as painted by Katsushika Hokusai.
