The pundits like to kiss LeFlop’s backside so much, they’ll write whatever he wants. Bronny will be a bust and be injured more that Ben Simmons…and then LeFlop will tell everyone how GREAT he would have been if not for injuries.
Going back at least to Heraclitus, you could say anything which happens is unique — it will never happen again in exactly the same way. Will it be considered so significant it will be mentioned in history books in all nations 100 years from now? Will it even appear in US history books in five?
(Actually I explain to students we use the word history in two different ways, with a very slight overlap… On a Venn diagram they merely touch. Which often confuses us into thinking history is history. It’s not. The difference takes more space to explain than GoComics will give me.)
Once again, the old saying of “In humor, there is truth”, is proven correct.Karl Marx was totally wrong when he said that “Religion was the opiate of the masses”, when today’s fascination with sports, would have proven him wrong. NOTHING about sports IS ’newsworthy", with perhaps that of the need to report on the criminal acts of its “heroes”.

Mark and Marty Howe would ask Bronny to hold their beers if he was old enough to drink.

Correct: not historic. It’s a game played by overpaid whiners.

It IS historic in an NBA context. Anyone comparing it to world history is being hysterical and hyperbolic.
