Louie enjoy yourself, in the real world I would never allow my German Shepard to run free. Way to easy to get hit by a car or get in trouble. He gets over 3 miles of walking every day, so he’s a happy boy.

It’s not that they don’t trust YOU, Louie; it’s that they don’t trust the rest of the world WITH you. ;-)

Equivalent to following your headstrong independent child to school

They love Louie enough to let him think he is on his own.
