Anything that rolls, especially not in a straight line. Potatoes are good toys because claws can hold on to them.

Anything is a cat toy.

I thought Pippin meant a dish called spud rolls. But you do need small roundish potatoes to make that fun if you can’t eat it.

Anything mouse size that’s easy to bat around is fun.

Looks like a bag of fancy Trader Joes mixed tiny spuds.

I had a cat who would play paw-hockey with ice cubes. He was fascinated by their frictionless movement and the sounds they made thawing.

Less expensive than a lot of cat toys.

To a cat, anything can be a toy.

Potatoes no only slide and roll; they also have that slightly earthy scent. I’ve never met a cat who could resist a potato.
