Not as much as walking by a senior person and finding out they’re 10 years younger than you.

Yes. Worse, I went past a middle-aged woman that was my sister. My youngest sister.

Actually, no. I love it.

Yes… That happens to me too.

But you look so much better than they do.

It’s jarring to be approaching someone and to think, “That gray-haired guy slouching toward me look looks so old and haggard…” and then realize it’s your own reflection in a store window.

Thankfully that didn’t happen to me so far. Life fare enough away and I was lucky enough until now to not run into classmates when I visited my home area.

For a 73 YO people say I look pretty good for my age. And then they ask when did I turn 90.

An old school friend in amazing shape looking well with a hot younger man? Burn…

It’s weird being the same age as old people

Ever notice that the “old school friend”,if it’s a guy,usually looks WORSE than you? Why IS that?

Aunty, I wouldn’t say you were necessarily old, just because you were God’s senior adviser when he was freshman in high school doesn’t make you old. It makes you really, really, really old.

Or when your kind of music is too old for the Oldies station…

I knew people in high school that looked old then…and that was 50 yrs ago!

Never understood the inability of people to understand aging. Cosmetic surgery and all the cremes in the world is not going stop it.

That doesn’t bother me. It’s when people my age can do things I can’t anymore.

Both are bad. used to be everyone was mostly old now I am in that group & look it!

Last time I saw someone from high school, a person I had lunch with every day of senior year, said “Oh, you’re GRs sister.”

I take solace in the high probability of them not recognizing me either. After fifty years we’re both pretty much talking to different people.

When I went to my 55th High School reunion, I walked in, and my first thought was who are all of these old people? A lot of them had a hard time walking and getting around, yet I still work 40+ hours a week and enjoy it. I just smile, as I was an outcast as we were poor while in school. I have a way to shut the “Cheer Leaders” up, I just remind them that 7 out of 9 were with baby in high school, and this was in 1968 lol. Yep, still mad….

Do what I did. Move out of state.

I don’t have any Old School friends because I attended a New School.
