I don’t understand why anybody likes TikTok. The inability to turn off autostart just makes it cacophony.

Go read a book outdoors. And leave your phone inside. A few hours of that will solve all those ills.

I hear you, brain. I completely hear you.

A few years from now, we will realize social media is as dangerous and pernicious as other organ-damaging vices like cigarettes and alcohol. I predict the regulatory reaction will mirror that of Big Tobacco. IMHO, can’t happen too soon.

I’m 77 so I remember when all we had were letters to the editor and pen pals. I can put down my devices without undergoing withdrawal. I understand it’s harder for younger people. My dad was worried about my book addiction.
