It’s already there for over-the-road truckers. My cousin who is a truck driver daid that the company monitored his driving and if he exceeded the speed limit or drove erratically, they could shut his truck down remotely.

In 1990, a friend who was a truck driver had me pick him up at the truck stop because he couldn’t take the truck off the planned route – GPS tracking and they got radio calls if they were off the route or going over the posted speed.
