My dad was diagnosed with dementia in 1998, I had to give him emotional support as he took one of those tests. They are not joking matters, nor bragging rights. They saved his life yes, and got him the help our family needed, but they severely hurt him emotionally, no one is ever ready to ‘not pass’. They should be kept private and personal. Cynthia is an extremely well created character and touches my heart. But a real girl going through caring for a grandfather like that would be hurting and confused. I hope the creator shows her getting emotional help in the future.
we eventually had to make sure that my wife’s mother wasn’t carrying her purse or anything else valuable when she went out. she’d forget where she left things and then tell folks her daughter was stealing from her. such a sweet woman when she was in her right mind…

Person, woman, man, camera, TV.
Why would anyone brag about having to take a cognitive test?

She could probably have fed it to the “dog” to shred it.

Isn’t he trying to hide his condition from his son?
