    Actually, even before Biden dropped out, only the Republican candidate sounded like he belonged in the dementia unit. Biden was slow and fumbled, but he’d always had a speech impediment. But he made very good decisions and actually hired competent people.

    the economist provided graphic proof of this last week in an article entitled american politicians are the oldest in the rich world. lifetime incumbency = ridiculously aged lawmakers. not that new blood would make any difference in the results… ☺

    I stopped following this strip for awhile, because I don’t like politics in what is supposed humors comic strips, but the granddaughter/grandfather relationship makes me want to try again.
