Knock me over with a feather. This poor baby has never lunched? Throughout the school year, I get. Though Red’s mom is kind and seems likely to give a good boy a mid-day snackie. But summers and weekends? Fie and shame!

That’s very touching! I do love the anti ant apple trick, Hilarious

Newton gets a small lunch or a mid-day snack! We just never weaned him of that meal from when he was a puppy and was fed more frequently—and he’s a Lab.

I don’t think I have ever loved a comic strip more than this one. Happy heart!

One day, I hope I can learn to treat people as well as these two treat each other.

I dread the day when Red starts really growing older and and can no longer telepathically communicate with Red.

Oh, my sweet baby Rover! The last frame is so precious! My Lizzie gets sugar snap peas for lunch.

Rover’s expression in the last frame is priceless! He looks exactly like my dog (a stray roaming our neighborhood who wouldn’t let anyone approach him) the first time I offered him food…

GRAPE FIZZIES?! Those were some of the most VILE things I’ve ever ingested! I’m gagging just remembering them…….

I would eat the apples and throw the spaghettios to the ants. That is the most vile stuff, sorry @ragsarooni, even more than your grape fizzies!

If only they still made Fizzies….

Sure he eats Red’s lunch sometimes when he forgets it on accident but he’s never been fed lunch before.
