I animated Eeyore in the short film WINNIE THE POOH AND A DAY FOR EEYORE. A little boy asked whether Eeyore was ‘hurt’ by the tack that held his tail on, and that was why he was sad all the time. I assured the little boy that Eeyore did not feel pain when the tail was tacked on. He was a nice little kid, and was genuinely concerned.

If you can’t say something nice, say nothing at all. (And it’s pronounced eye-ore.)
