Looks like the Szabo’s are blessed by living in area which is not affected by light pollution which sadly has robbed many people of wonderful night skies. When I was a kid way back in the early ’70s, my Dad took the family for a vacation up in the Appalachians. One night we stayed in Blowing Rock NC and that night sky was magnificent, there were so many stars out that night, it must have been millions (or so it seemd to an 8 year old kid). Ever since then I have tried to view a night sky like that again down in the Glades, up at Cedar Key, the Appalachains again as well as remote parts of New Mexico and Colorado but nothing has ever matched that spectacular Blowing Rock sky. Good memory.
I lived in Minneapolis when I was a kid and I remember my dad taking me outside to see Sputnik pass through the night sky. Must not have been much light pollution back in the 50’s…
When I wake up in the morning a decade from now and turn on my computer to read the comics, will these poor people still be living in a tent outside their unfinished house?

Still, it is beautiful for the feelings it evokes. Loved that… for sure…
