This week has almost made me want to try to whistle like that. Almost.
A friend’s mom, Mrs. Walker, used to whistle like that to round up her six kids. We called it the “Walker Whistle”. Now it’s done to round up grandkids… and it’s still just as effective, and LOUD.
And of course there’s an instructable over at YouTube.
That must be how we got the saying" wet your whistle"
