It’s all cloud, no silver.

Every Born Loser has a personal rainy cloud above him.

But we love you, Brutus.

This somehow reminded me of Al Capp’s Joe Btfspl.

You need cloud polish. I think CrowdStrike sells it.

And besides Brutus, the I.R.S. will get most of it.

Use Polish…vodka.

At least it’s still silver. Mine turned out to be tin.

break out the baking soda…

I’m not seeing the dark rain cloud over Brutus’ head.

Well, they’re still silver…unlike mine which are just rusted steel.

One of those days huh Brutus ?

My silver linings sometimes turn out to be lead.

Upgrade to titanium linings!

Today is a good day to sulk.

Brutus needs some baking soda and vinegar for that tarnish.

Poor Brutus. I thought of Charlie Brown who considers Joe Shlabotnik his favorite Baseball player and his hero. Poor Joe, like Charlie Brown is not a fine Player, type gets worm in the Apple, and always last in line and the one who is called on that does not know the answer.

Brutus should be happy – at least he’s getting some rain and not a drought.

Tarnished linings ?

Cheer up, Brutus, it could be worse.

Pithy slogans just aren’t going to help here Gladys. The guy needs ice cream and pizza STAT.

Yeah but do those clouds have to keep following him everywhere he goes.

Story of my life Brutus.

I guess that’s the life of a born loser: all glasses are half empty, all clouds rain on your parade. Instead, Brutus might relate that he has a secure job, a paycheck that meets the family’s needs, an adoring wife, a respecting son, a working TV and a nice chair to watch TV in. He may not have been born an optimist, but he can learn.

Of course they are, they are constantly exposed to water vapor.

Just means they need a little polish and some elbow grease to get them bright and shiny again. You can do it big guy…..

Kewpie could cheer Brutus up.

Well, there is some reason for optimism, Brutus…one less day with Veebs.

When things are their blackest, I say to myself ‘Cheer up! Things could get worse.’

And, sure enough, things get worse.

“Never worry, never hurry.” Can’t remember where I first heard this marvellous suggestion.
