Raided by squirrels again.

After all, you did say to leave a note if it ever happened again.

Well, things could be worse.

At least it isn’t the Bat (man) signal in the sky, reading, “Help! Major crime wave in Gotham City! Come Quick Batman!”

Are you not sure whether you need to refill the bird feeder?

Look outside – you may see a sign (in the sky).

[You could also just look at the bird feeder.]

I can’t keep up with filling my birdfeeders. They’re constantly being emptied. By the deer.

Do something or they’ll do something Albert Hitchcock style.

Subtlety at its finest!

I put up a bird feeder last month. Still no takers. For some reason the birds are entirely gone in my area this year. Normally I have stellar jays and blue jays, the bird that uses it’s beak to strike the tree in a rapid fashion, (can’t use the 2nd word in the name WOOD P) western tanagers and many more. This year I seem to only have the Anna’s. I hope they return in the fall.

My cat sings “The Food Bowls are All Empty Blues” until I get the idea. It’s much more direct.

The hummingbirds hover outside my window watching me until I refill their feeder.
