My mom had a second verse to a lot of these little rhymes. I never did ask her if she made them up, or if it was a real second verse. Oh, well. Too late now, more’s the pity. Her second verse for the bedbug rhyme was(Good night sleep tightDon’t let the bedbugs bite)And if they do, take your shoeand beat them ‘til they’re black and blue.
