There are still six days left in August, and then there’s the Labor Day weekend—the unofficial end of summer. Thank goodness!!

Shouldn’t have said anything Clayton. Any tiny chance that she might have forgotten is now gone. She will pay you back.

College football started already. It’s interfering with my yard work. Seems like this happens earlier every year. Not complaining……just sharing.

Poor kids! They’re whole lives revolve around whether school is in or out. Funny part is after the first few days of summer vacation they look around and complain that they’re bored.

School around here still ends the end of June – not halfway through – and does not start until after Labor Day – though apparently the formerly fixed day of the Wednesday after Labor Day out here and the Monday after for NYC schools no longer holds. Suburban districts are starting on an assortment of days after Labor Day from what I saw when I checked before posting on similar post on another site.

Instead of laying there pretending you have more time, get up and make use of your remaining time. Don’t waste it.

That’s a rule of life as well as a rule of summer vacation. ;-)
