Mine was “model trains”. Now it is photographing real trains.

Notice he did NOT say it’s the last time he is going to his hobby shop. He might mean it’s the last time she will catch him :P

I worked in two hobby shops (at different times). We had many customers like Herb. Of course, I didn’t help things for them when I pointed out new items for them.

Most hobby shops don’t carry my hobby items. I have to order from specialized on line stores. High Power Rocketry.Yes, it eats a very large hole into your pockets.

And your clothing boutique isn’t. And what about that food emporium and jewelry store, huh, huh, huh? You can thank your lucky stars that Herb only has one store mistress.

My wife has a couple hobby shops: art supplies, garden supplies, nurseries (four of those). Unless grocery stores count, I have none.

Don’t worry. They’ll be gone soon. Too many people go to hobby shops, find marvellous new things to buy, then order them online. And when they can’t quite make it right, they expect the hobby shop to be there to help them.

She should be glad that she has a husband who has hobbies and interests and not going drinking and chasing younger women!
