I hate it when people say, “God saved me.” That assumes so many things including that God cares whether you die today or in ten years. Or that you matter to God more than the guy who got killed.

He was saved, for which even his political enemies should be thankful. That’s not how we settle political disputes in this country. Now that Vance is his running mate, we should further hope Trump lives should he be elected.
He might not have even been injured, which would definitely explain why he was allowed to jump up (before knowing if any more bullets were coming) and do his weird fist thing.
