If I want to try some crazy restaurant or something I know my husband would hate I’ll go for lunch with my girlfriends rather than subject him, it’s a lot more enjoyable with other people who might actually like it anyway

Reservations? I wouldn’t go to a vegan restaurant! I’d go to a gluten-free one for my husband’s sake but vegan? Noooo.

I was a strict vegan for too long

To me “vegan” is another word for the term “bad hunter”. ;)

I have reservations about going honey bunch, not that I made reservations.

Oh, good. I have something in common with him.

Cows eat grass. Grass is plant-based. So, does that make the beef vegan?

I would just say, “you go, I’ll just grab a burger and fries over here, at a real food place”.

I’d have those same reservations Ralph!

I thought that was a salad bar.

The old joke, they ask if you have reservations and you say, “Yes, but I’m going to eat here anyway…”

I keep getting vegan, vegetarian, and vegetable mixed up. But no problem with pork, chicken, beef, fish, shrimp, etc.

He could see the warning flag.
