We’d be so screwed if they figured out how to stop hurricanes. Hurricanes are part of the world ecosystem that prevents the temperatures from cooking all life. They churn the ocean bringing cold water from the bottom to the top which makes the world more temperate. They also churn up microbes and other food from the depths to feed the fish which feeds us. Even though I live in hurricane territory, I do not hate them or wish they’d go away.
