Trump and the magats were really unhappy when Biden withdrew. Their entire campaign consisted of attacks on Biden (with a little confused attacking of Obama) and nothing else. Trump actually believed he should get his money back that he spent on attack ads.

Not only that, but magats now have to figure out exactly why they hate Harris. So far, they have only conjured up attacks on her for failing at a position she was never appointed.

Standard making sh!t up and then LYING about it.

    .

You would think the magat party with its hundreds of millions of donations could come up with a record they could run on. You know, all the things that were ‘fixed’ when they were in power.

Like when they headed off that pandemic before it could even get started, along with all the deaths and damage it would have caused.

The mud slings from teh GOP has been goin gon since teh 2020 election and is now ramping up with the Dems returning some. It’s only going to get worse, mostly from the GOP. The right wing machoism can’t handle a woman running for president; look what happened in 2016 with Hillary.

The surge of enthusiasm for Kamala reminds me of the days when no one knew the candidate until the convention, then enthusiastically campaigned til election day. Refreshing. The never-ending campaigns breed exhaustion and cynicism. And disinterest, which may be the eventual cure for hyper partisanship…

GOP Convention: "The “new” Donald Trump soothed and silenced the nation for 28 minutes last night. Then the old Trump returned and bellowed, barked and bored America for 64 minutes more."

2 days ago: "But to a cheering crowd of thousands, Mr. Trump quickly conceded the point. “No, I haven’t changed,” he said. “Maybe I’ve gotten worse.”

The rhetoric is cool. It will get hot as the election gets closer. It will be boiling when tRump is down by double digits in the polls come November. It will be volcanic when tRump takes claims of election fraud to the Supreme Court. Everything is relaltive.
