Why not have two awards? Comeback of the Year and Most Improved Player?
I can imagine the Hobblegoblin sounding like Peter Lorre and the Slump sounding like Oogie Boogie.
it always should have been about injury (or other situations that remove you from the game for a long period of time). Recovering from a bad season is the reason for another year of pay, not an award.
And never forget the great team-mates who get frustrated and punch the dugout wall,break a hand,and are out for the season
