Happened for my dad once with his driving license. 50 km back home, then he missed it, drove back to his friends. They couldn’t find it in the house. Then one of the youngsters pointet to the roof of the car where the license in it’s leather case still was.

how did the phone stay on the roof of the car – “duck tape”?

I was three blocks from home when I guy pulled up next to me and told me there was a cat on my roof. Got her down and took her back home. Not the least amount of trouble she ever got into.

That happened to my brother-in-law last year. He was lucky to find it again.

Back when 7-11 sold Big Gulps in the squat fat cups, I set one on the roof of my car, got to talking to someone, got into the car, drove home (5 right turns and 2 left) only to find it condensation-locked to the moonroof.

Years ago my mother was driving our van down the street Our mailman motioned for her to stop. When she did she saw one of our cats was sleeping on top of the van!
