This guy should be careful to not break the palm tree. Shadow is priceless.

Not sure what he used for bait, but he still has all his limbs.

Well, properly preserved, that will keep you fed for a while.

Now if he only had some batteries he would have a puzzle to occupy his mind.

Well, the July 24th comic gives us a pretty good idea of what he used for bait.

Does a falling tree make a sound if no one is around?

You’re making an angry shark much more angrier.

This comic broaches a fascinating survival question: If you washed up on a deserted island with a decently charged cell phone but no signal, what would you do with the remaining battery power you had left? You could power down your phone and save what little battery is left for videoing your final words should it come to that. You could try to photo-document your days. You could hold out hope of a section of the island that perhaps may get cell service, and wander looking for any hope of a single bar.

An impressive feat. Took him a while to accomplish it — based on his appearance, he’s been stranded for a while with very little food. But having documented his great achievement for posterity, I hope he’s fond of sushi.
