On the sand, Poncho is a hot dog. In the sea, he has cold feet.

That is precisely why they stand in a doorway, going neither in or out, while I pay to air condition the atmosphere.

Generally, there is a whole area of sand near the water’s edge that’s pretty nice because it’s wet as the tide has come in and goes out.
