This is why I am more impressed by overweight people walking and exercising, than by muscular folks showing off their great feats of strength or endurance.
Exercise is boring, especially if you have a lot of other interests. Fortunately, one of my cats acts a coach. She accompanies me on walks in the cul-de-sac and supervises my leg exercises.
It is very good of her because cats can maintain muscle tone with almost no exercise – just part of their superior physical evolution.

I just walk for 30 minutes 6 or 7 days a week on my treadmill to prevent having another stroke.
