As someone not unlikely to be hauling several books along to the beach, there is no way I’d risk dropping them in the sand or water by piling them in a wagon that could easily overturn or tilt. Having lost a partially-read book to a mud puddle once (tripped and it launched out of my hand) and not being able to get another copy for weeks has made me protective of my book stash.

Boy, this looks just like the start of the arc that has been running on Luann these last few days.

I’ve seen people do that at book fairs. I keep thinking I should follow their example.

Unless she is a super speed reader or is planning to sell or lend out those books, that wagon of books is just a little bit too much.
