It might help, if sometime in the decades-long public education process, people were taught proper hand signs for communicating remaining distance and direction to turn. Especially in this age of enlarging SUVs and shrinking parking spaces. It’s not like I’m asking for universal education in critical thinking or something equally radical. :)
