Ever feel like time does fly? Just very slowly?

Because you work for a tea cozy company owned by a guy like Rancid W.

There is no fun at work. That is why they have to pay you to show up for work. There is fun in hobbies. That is why you must spend all the money you get from working to enjoy your hobbies, golf, travel, fishing, camping, boating…..

Time flew away with fun.

Maybe he is having fun but just doesn’t know it.

Brutus, You must learn to “Overcome” Procrastination. 1. Work like a slave to get it done. 2. Pass it along to another employee. 3. Or file 13 – trash can it. Done.

the fun starts at 5PM…

Fun flies when you’re doing time. Or is it: time’s fun when you’re having flies?

If it were fun, they would charge you to play.

Well, looks like your “in” box is in need of your attention….not fun at all! Keep up here! ☺️

You’re at work.

I wonder that myself most days anymore… sigh. :j

Bad logic, Brutus. The saying doesn’t mean that having fun is the only way for time to fly.

Time flying at work means less time you will be suffering doing your job. While not necessarily fun, relief comes sooner, and that IS at least good. Take what you can get …..

Because you’re at work, Brutus.

Employees are reminded that it is against company policy to enjoy themselves during work hours.

Time also flies when you have an inbox that looks like that and not nearly enough time to get to it all. Especially with the interruptions. Seemed like Brutus was vacationing last week so I’m sure the Boss has a week’s worth of unvented rants ready to erupt. Hang in there Brutus. It could be worse – you could be at home with your mother-in-law sitting in your chair!

Well, Brutus – at least the time is flying. Could be worse…

Referring to Hobbes the previous “comic” Retirement is usually when you go to sleep at night.

Actually, he’s lucky if time flies for him while he’s bored at work. For most people, time would drag under those circumstances.

Brutus, you’re not having any fun because time is going by faster than you can take care of what’s in your in box. I was once there, and time can fly when you’re under stress just as quickly (or maybe, more quickly) when you’re not having fun and are under deadline stress.
