Geez guys, you coulda hid under that boat you were lifting you know, that would probably have been the smarter idea. Or even gone inside, there’s a door right there!
So long as this drone isn’t looking for heat signatures, they might be able to hide below decks. But depending on whether it has infrared detection, it might be able to see them anyway.
Did anyone honestly think Cracky and friends would get a nice little lull to prepare for their sea voyage? Did anyone think life in Neatheryland is that simple?
Peafowl are opportunistic hunters in the wild, eating prey as big as squirrels, but are also prey themselves to upper mid sized cats and the biggest eagles. This necessarily requires excellent eyesight. Now exaggerate that via anthropomorphic size, and he could probably see the moon landing location if the moon wasn’t moving so fast.
Nukes are an expensive asset, a “mop-up” squad is less costly and better for acquiring intell . As for recon drones, if you see/hear them, it’s too late, you were spotted long ago.
Wally left Kirbee 12/09/2019 (at about 3:01) in Eden then the met Amesworth and dimension hopped until ending up inside the Eden Project 11/23/2020. Then Eye infected the Eden Project; which did a fail safe cutoff to prevent the virus (Eye) from infecting any other Colonies 07/29/2021. They went back into dimension hopping, this time with Marx 12/30/21. They finally landed in Eden 05/22/23 just as it was collapsing back into Eden Project Reality-which they jumped into 01/27/24. When Kirbee finds him (04/18/24), she says Wally had been gone “a few hours”. Terrance says that at 3:06 (compare to 3:00 back at Kirbee’s), Colony 19 became radioactive ash 05/04/2024. I wonder if Topsiders from other colonies would have been alerted by the communications that Colony 19 cut to prevent system infection, and if that would have been much longer before the Colony 19 blew up. Then; how long would it take for a visual recon unit to get there from the nearest Topsider colony? If this is just a single recon drone—how long before reinforcements follow? Would Topsiders send the newer autonomous MUTT-based flyers? I can’t recall seeing any Topsiders in flying machines—only those Personnel Transports.

Joint enterprise…the drone sees anybody, it’s bad for everybody.

Pro Tip: If you’re building spy drones, don’t put lights on them.

I figured they would send a drone. That stuff crashing had to triggers some sensors.
