Let’s all say it in unison: “Time for a new one!” And they just happen to have a sale going on.

And of course, all of the duct work needs to be replaced and new upgraded thermostat and the five-year extended warranty.

10 years? My Lennox is that old and been flawless. We bought top end, the extra $$ has proved a good plan. The utility gave me a really nice wifi thermostat (they spy on my usage) but I have internet control or while I’m reading my comics

I’m amazed when they try to sell you a new appliance now and they say “This is a good one. It should last you 3 or 4 years!”… like that’s a good thing. My parents had the same washer and dryer since they were married in 1962 but had to finally replace them in 2018. They have been through 2 new washers and dryers since replacing them.

Of course that old furnace of yours won’t be able to handle the upgraded A/C unit you need. Good thing there’s a sale going on.

It’s seems to be covered in a layer of sales pitch. It doesn’t really matter what the outside of the unit looks like.

Maybe Norm can sell it to a museum.
